This video-based psychodrama self-help course was studied as part of dissertation research exploring how psychodrama can be safely adapted for structured self-practice. Results showed significant improvement in 11 of 14 measured areas, including creativity, taking action, overcoming resistance, generating new options, reducing the impact of the inner critic, and gaining clarity about next steps.

Over five days, you will focus on one real-life area where you feel stuck and explore new ways to respond with greater clarity, flexibility, and Creativity.

Through short videos, guided action exercises, simple objects, and reflection prompts, you will explore what may be keeping you stuck, recognize recurring patterns, discover the Creativity already available within you, and practice accessing it in everyday situations.

By the end of the course, you will have three supportive internal roles, practical next steps, and a simple structure you can continue using beyond the five-day practice.

This Course Is for You If You Feel Stuck With…

This course may be especially valuable for creators, writers, artists, entrepreneurs, content makers, teachers, leaders, facilitators, coaches, and anyone who feels “stuck in their head” and wants a practical, experiential way to create movement.

Throughout the course, you will work with one real-life situation of your choice, keeping the practice specific, realistic, and connected to your daily life.

What Makes This Video Course Different

This is not a lecture-based self-help course. It is an experiential, action-based video practice using psychodrama tools adapted for individual self-practice.

Psychodrama explores roles, perspectives, emotions, and choices through action rather than reflection alone.

No acting or previous psychodrama experience is required. You remain in control of your pace, level of participation, and intensity throughout the course.

What You Will Do in This Course

During the five days, you will focus on one area of your life where you want greater movement, clarity, or creativity.

You will develop and experiment with three supportive internal roles, including Creativity, and learn how to use them to pause, notice what is happening, access your inner resources, and identify realistic next steps.

You will explore:

• What is happening in the area where you feel stuck

• What may be making it difficult to move forward

• Which patterns or responses keep repeating

• What kind of Creativity is already available within you

• How to access Creativity when you feel blocked, overwhelmed, or uncertain

• Which small, realistic actions can help you respond differently

By the end of the course, you will have a clearer understanding of your situation, three practical internal roles you can draw on in everyday life, and a repeatable process for approaching future challenges.

Course Structure:

The course is completed over 5 days, with approximately 60 minutes of practice each day.

Each day includes short video lessons, guided action-based exercises, downloadable handouts, reflection prompts, and small practices to bring into your everyday life.

You can complete the entire course from home in a private space using simple everyday objects and, for some exercises, two chairs.

Across the five days, you will move step by step from identifying the area you want to work on, to exploring it through guided psychodrama practices, developing supportive internal roles, applying those roles to real-life situations, and creating a personalized 5-day continuation plan to help you carry the practice forward.
